Junior Integrations & Automation Developer

  • Hybrid
    • Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
  • Development

Job description

Want to start your career in a role where you learn fast, work on real customer projects, and see the impact of what you build? Then this role might be a great fit.

As a Junior Integrations & Automation Developer, you work on the data flows that connect our platform to external applications used by real estate professionals. You analyse how customer processes and systems work in practice, and you help translate those insights into automated workflows that process data reliably and reduce manual work. Think of syncing data with accounting systems, extracting information from PDF invoices using AI, or converting tenant repair requests written in natural language into structured case data. Your work helps customers eliminate manual data entry, reduce errors, and run their operations more smoothly.

You will learn how different systems behave, how APIs function in practice, and how to design integrations that are stable, maintainable and scalable. You’ll grow into the role step-by-step through pair programming, code reviews and close collaboration with developers, a Product Owner and testers. You’ll gradually take on more responsibility as you gain confidence and experience with our technology stack.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain integrations in n8n: you develop, test and support workflows that are used daily by real estate professionals.

  • Work with REST APIs, webhooks and JSON: you understand how systems communicate and ensure data moves reliably between platforms.

  • Analyse how external systems function: you explore API behaviour, limitations and opportunities to determine how integrations should work in practice.

  • Improve and refine existing workflows: for example by adding better error handling, logging, performance optimisations or reusability.

  • Apply AI-assisted steps where useful: such as extracting structured information from PDFs or enhancing decision logic within workflows.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues: you investigate incidents, fix bugs and help improve stability and reliability over time.

  • Document workflows and edge cases: ensuring integrations are clear, maintainable and easy for others to build on.

  • Contribute to technical design decisions: including data modelling, synchronisation strategies and architectural improvements.
